The mobile messaging app, WhatsApp, may launch the long-rumoured ‘Recall’ feature, report a fan site that tests new WhatsApp features.

According to WABetaIn, Recall feature will be enabled in the “2.17.30+” version of the app.

The mobile messaging app has been testing the Recall feature since the start of the year, but it hasn’t been enabled in the stable version yet.

Whatsapp recall feature allows users to revoke recent misdirected messages. The time limit to revoke the sent message from a chat is to five minutes.

Now, a fresh leak suggests that the Recall feature is imminent to arrive, and may come as soon as WhatsApp v2.17.30+ for iPhone.

In its current form, WhatsApp doesn't allow users to edit, delete. or recall messages sent to the recipient.
