Imagining our lives without WhatsApp is little difficult, right? After all, the instant messaging app is used by millions of people all across the globe to send messages, videos, pictures and all.
It won’t be wrong to say that Whatsapp has actually changed the way we chat with our family and friends. However, the forwarded good morning and evening spam messages are a big nuisance and irritating most of the times.
The popularity of the Facebook owned app has made it a perfect tool for spammers who are more than happy to spread spam messages. In case, you too are bugged by the spam messages, we have some news for you.
According to a report in WaBetaInfo, Whatsapp is working on a new feature which will help you identify the difference between a regular message and a spam message. ‘’Forwarded message’’ will be appear on the top of a post which the spammers send to different groups.
''Today, WhatsApp has modified the behaviour of the feature, that will show on the bubble (when the feature will be enabled in future), a “Forwarded Message” string, if the message has been forwarded from another chat (or from the same chat),” as per the report on WaBetaInfo.
WaBetaInfo posted the new update in their blog which said a user will notice a small bubble of ‘’forwarded message’’ if the message is forwarded a lot of times.
The new feature at present is under development and we believe this will help many users say goodbye the spam messages.
