Xiaomi Mi A3, which was launched in India in August last year at Rs 12,999, has now received a price cut. Yes, you read it right. Xiaomi on Thursday announced the price of Mi A3 has been slashed by Rs 1,000. The smartphone is already available for sale in India via Amazon India, Mi.com, Flipkart, and retail stores as well. The key features on Xiaomi Mi A3 include triple rear cameras, a Super AMOLED display, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a 32-megapixel front camera.
Xiaomi's India chief Manu Kumar Jain has tweeted that the Xiaomi Mi A3 gets a permanent price drop of Rs 1,000. Xiaomi Mi A3: Revised Price
After the price cut, the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of Xiaomi Mi A3 costs Rs 11,999. The price of 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of Xiaomi Mi A3 has been revised to Rs 14,999. Both the variant of the smartphone is available in Not Just Blue, More Than White and Kind of Gray colour options.
Xiaomi Mi A3: Specifications
Xiaomi Mi A3 comes equipped with a waterdrop-style notched display design, Gorilla Glass 5 protection and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Xiaomi Mi A3 features a 6.08-inch HD+ (720x1560 pixels) Super AMOLED display. It comes equipped with a stock Android 9 Pie operating system. Xiaomi Mi A3 is a downgrade from FHD+. However, the phone gets an AMOLED panel instead of LCD which allows for an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Under the hood, Xiaomi Mi A3 is powered by the Snapdragon 665 chipset. The device comes with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and Adreno 610 GPU. The internal storage is expandable via microSD card.
On the imagining front, the Mi A3 has the triple rear camera setup that has a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens, 8-megapixel secondary sensor with a 118-degree wide-angle f/1.79 lens, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor for depth sensing. The smartphone also has a 32-megapixel selfie camera at the front with an f/2.0 lens.

Connectivity options on the newly-launched smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Besides, the phone packs a 4,030mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging and it measures 153.48x71.85x8.5mm.
