A new smartphone series called “CC” was recently announced by Xiaomi. As soon as the CC series was announced, rumours and leaks revealed almost everything about it. According to the rumours and leaks, the first smartphones under the CC series will be Mi CC9 and the Mi CC9e targeted towards the youth especially.
In a tweet, tipster Mukul Sharma said that multiple variants of the Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e will be launched in the newly announced ‘CC' smartphone series. Disclosing the price, Mukul Sharma said that the Mi CC9 6GB + 128GB will be priced at CNY 2,599 (approx Rs 26,200), the 8GB + 128GB variant will be priced at CNY 2,799 (approx Rs 28,200), and the 8GB + 256GB variant will be priced at CNY 3,099 (approx Rs 31,300).
“The Mi CC9e will be priced at CNY 1,599 (approx Rs 16,100) for the 6GB + 64GB variant, CNY 1,899 (approx Rs 19,200) for the 6GB + 128GB variant, and CNY 2,199 (approx Rs 22,200) for the 8GB + 128GB variant,” he added.
The tipster has further shared specifications of the Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e.
According to Sharma, Mi CC9 will run on Android Pie-based MIUI 10 software. It will feature a 6.39-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) AMOLED display and will be powered by the Snapdragon 730 SoC. The smartphone will pack a 4,000mAh battery as well with 27W fast charging support.
The Mi CC9 will come equipped with a triple rear camera setup. It will sport a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor, a 16-megapixel secondary lens, and a 12-megapixel third sensor. On the front, the Mi CC9 will have a 32-megapixel selfie sensor. The device further sports an in-screen fingerprint sensor, IR Blaster, USB Type-C port, and Hi-Res audio support as well.
As far as the specifications of the Mi CC9e is concerned, Sharma said that the device will sport a smaller 5.97-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) AMOLED display. The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 710 SoC nd pack 3,500mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
The Mi CC9e will be equipped with a triple rear camera setup. The smartphone will have a 48-megapixel Sony IMX583 sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor and a 5-megapixel tertiary sensor. All the other specifications are listed to be similar to the Mi CC9.
In the meantime, Xiaomi has confirmed that the first phones under CC series or Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e will be launched on July 2 this year in China. However, as of now, there are no words whether or not the Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e will come to India.
