For all the Redmi smartphone fans, there some good news. Xiaomi has unveiled a new variant of Redmi 4A in the country. The phone's memory has been boosted as it now comes with more storage and RAM.
The upgraded version which will now have 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory is priced at Rs 6,999.
Redmi 4A was launched with a price of Rs. 5,999 and the new variant costs Rs. 1,000 more. The base model had a RAM of 3GB and storage of 16GB.
Those who are eagerly waiting to buy the phone won't have to wait much. The online sale starts from August 31.
The smartphone will be available through the company's website Mi.com. Customers can also buy the phone from platforms like Flipkart, Amazon India, Paytm and Tata Cliq.
Nothing much has been changed in the new Redmi 4A if we talk about design and features. The phone has a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display and is backed by a 3120 mAh battery.
The handset powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 SoC has a rear camera of 13-megapixel and front camera of 5-megapixels.
