Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 all set to get Android Nougat update, confirms Flipkart

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is all set to get Android Nougat software update anytime soon. The news was confirmed by Flipkart via banner, which states that “Android Nougat update coming soon on your Redmi Note 4!”

E-commerce websites Flipkart and Mi.com launched Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 on Wednesday with Marshmallow operating system. The smartphone is available in three colours - Dark Grey, Gold, and Matte Black.

The price ranges according to the storage variants, i.e. Rs. 9,999 for the 2GB RAM (32GB storage variant), Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB RAM (32GB storage variant) and Rs. 12,999 for the 4GB RAM (64GB storage variant).

Powered by the Snapdragon 625 SoC, the dual-SIM Redmi Note 4 runs MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and has a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) 2.5D curved glass IPS display.

The smartphone offers a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera. It also has dual tone LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture.
