Xiaomi is all set to launch its popular smartphone next week, Redmi Note 7 Pro in the Indian market. Xiaomi President Lu Weibing has confirmed its China launch which is next week but the exact data is still not revealed. The handset is an upgraded version of Redmi Note 7 which is scheduled to get launched in China on February 28. The main attraction of Redmi Note 7 Pro is its 48-megapixel Sony IMX 586 camera lens.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro is expected to come with a 6.43-inch Full HD display and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 675 SoC while the Redmi Note 7 is powered by a Snapdragon 660 chipset.
It is expected to come in 6GB RAM variant with 128GB of internal storage. However, the design and build of the smartphone is expected to be similar to the Redmi Note 7.
According to some reports, the Redmi Note 7 price in India is likely to be around the China pricing range. In China, the Redmi Note 7 is priced starting at CNY 999 (roughly Rs. 10,500) for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage option, going up to CNY 1,199 (roughly Rs. 12,400) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option, and CNY 1,399 (roughly Rs. 14,500) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage option.
Redmi Note 7 comes with a larger 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) LTPS display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It also has a 2.5D curved glass protection. The smartphone features a waterdrop-shaped notch, a slight chin at the bottom of the display. The smartphone measures at 159.21x75.21x8.1mm and weighs 186 grams.
It is powered by the 2.2GHz Snapdragon 660 octa-core SoC paired with Adreno 512 graphics, and 3GB, 4GB, and 6GB RAM options.
The price of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro is expected to be around CNY 1,499 which is roughly around Rs 15,900.
