Xiaomi is preparing to launch a new range of smart televisions in India. Xiaomi announced that the new Mi TV series is set to launch on Wednesday, March 7.

Before the launch, the 43-inch Mi TV 4C has been found listed on the company's India website, priced at Rs. 27,999. This is one of the models Xiaomi is expected to reveal on the launch day, with a 32-inch variant from the Mi TV 4A series also likely to make its mark.

The 43-inch Xiaomi Mi TV 4C that was recently spotted on the Xiaomi’s Indian website was first launched in China in October 2017. Supposedly priced at Rs. 27,999 it is named as Mi LED Smart TV 4C here in India.

The Mi TV 4C's 43-inch variant boasts a full-HD display, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, a Quad-Core Amlogic T962 64-bit processor, and supports connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5 GHz dual band Wi-Fi), Bluetooth 4.2, Dolby, and DTS Audio. To reduce eye strain problem, the Mi TV 4C also has a blue light-reducing mode. The processor on the Mi TV 4C series also supports HDR 10 and HLG.

Xiaomi's flagship series that tries to compete with the premium brands like Sony, LG and Samsung in the high-end segment, the Mi TV 4C will most likely shake up the mid-budget market in India. But the highlight of Wednesday’s launch is all set to be Xiaomi's cheapest and smallest TV ever, the 32-inch Mi TV 4A. It was launched at Chinese Yuan 1,099 in China (approx. Rs. 11,300) and is ready to grab the eyeballs of Indian audience.

Xiaomi also launched the Mi TV 4A 40-inch variant in China on Saturday. The model has been priced at Chinese Yuan 1,699 (approx. Rs. 17,400). It boasts a 40-inch full-HD (1920x1080 pixels) display, a 64-bit Amlogic L962-H8X (1.5GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 SoC) with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, a 60Hz refresh rate, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 2 USB ports, 1  Ethernet port, 1 S / PDIF port, Bluetooth 4.2, 2 HDMI ports, one component port, Dolby Audio, DTS- HD audio dual decoding, 2x8W speakers, and the AI-based PatchWall UI.

The flash sale of MI TV 4 has witnessed a massive response from the Indian audience but there have been frequent complaints about low stocks, something that Xiaomi should consider before going live with the flash sale of their new stock.

Xiaomi has confirmed that the launch event is scheduled for March 7 and can be streamed live from the company's website at 3pm. Xiaomi will also be selling the Redmi Note 5 Pro and Redmi Note 5 on March 7 at 12pm.
