Xiaomi recently introduced its popular smartphone Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro in the Indian market. The company has now claimed that it has successfully crossed one-million-unit sale in India itself. Meanwhile, globally Redmi Note 7 series has sold more than 4 million units till now.

Talking about achieving this feat, Raghu Reddy, Head of Category and Online Sales, Xiaomi India said, “We are delighted to be sharing yet another wonderful milestone achieved by our popular Redmi Note series of smartphones. It is truly humbling to see the love of our Mi Fans towards the new Redmi Note 7 series that have set themselves a class apart from their segment of smartphones. This inspires us, even more, to further ramp up the supply for our popular Redmi Note 7 series and help all our Mi Fans access it easily.”

The Redmi Note 7 Pro 6GB RAM variant with 128GB of internal storage went on sale from April 3 on Mi.com and also on India’s e-commerce giant Flipkart.

The 6GB RAM variant of Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with a 6.3-inch IPS Full HD display with 1080x2340 pixels resolution and 19:5:9 aspect ratio. It also features a drop dot like notch on the top of the display.

The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 675 2.0 GHz octa-core processor and Adreno 612 graphics paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

On optics front, AI based dual camera setup at the back with 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 as primary camera and a 5-megapixel camera lens as secondary. For selfies, it boasts a 13-megapixel for capturing clear and high-resolution images.

The Redmi Note 7 Pro is fuelled by a 4000mAh battery and also supports 18W fast charging. Other connectivity features include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, GPS, infrared, and 3.5mm audio jack.

On the other hand, Redmi Note 7 comes with a larger 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) LTPS display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It also has a 2.5D curved glass protection. The smartphone features a waterdrop-shaped notch, a slight chin at the bottom of the display. The smartphone measures at 159.21x75.21x8.1mm and weighs 186 grams.  There is also a fingerprint sensor at the back. 

The Redmi Note 7 has 32GB and 64GB of onboard storage variants that both support microSD card (up to 256GB). It packs a 4,000mAh battery that supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4. 

Redmi Note 7 camera includes 12-megapixel along with 2-megapixel AI camera and there is a 13-megapixel AI selfie camera. The phone comes in Onyx Black, Ruby Red, and Sapphire Blue colour options.
