The much-awaited POCO F1, the latest sub-brand smartphone from the stable of Xiaomi, priced at Rs 20,999 was launched in India on Wednesday. The 64GB model with 6GB RAM promises to deliver speed for users and with this, the company hopes to dominate the premium smartphone market.

The latest smartphone from the Xiaomi family was unveiled in New Delhi by the former Google executive and Xiaomi’s lead product manager Jai Rami. What gives this handset a unique character is that it will include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC with LiquidCool Technology, a 6.18-inch display, 12-megapixel rear camera, and more.
Poco F1 will be a Flipkart exclusive product. The smartphone will be launched in Hong Kong, Jakarata, and Paris on August 27, according to the company officials.

The smartphone launch comes with a Jio benefit offer, where Reliance Jio is offering Rs 8,000 instant benefits and up to 6TB high-speed data. One can avail the smartphone at no cost EMI and a Rs 1000 discount on HDFC bank debit/credit cards.
Xiaomi Poco F1 specifications
Poco F1 features in a 6.1-inch Full HD+ resolution display, with a plastic polycarbonate body. For everyone looking for a more durable and premium looking model, the phone will also be available with a Kelvar back. The Kelvar back variants comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Here’s a good news for the people addicted to heavy duty gaming like PUBG, and more, because the company claims that the POCO F1 also features with Liquid cooling design.

Poco F1 runs the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, it has 6GB/8GB RAM coupled with 64GB/128GB/256GB storage options. The rear camera is 12MP+5MP, with the secondary sensor being used for depth-sensing. The front camera is 20MP. The camera also come with AI features from Xiaomi. Poco F1 also sports a 4000 mAh battery with a 5V/2A charger on board.
At present, Poco F1 runs the MIUI 9.6 with Android Oreo 8.1, which will soon be upgraded to MIUI 10 as promised by the company. The upgrade after MIUI 10 will bring Android Pie. Poco F1 has been customised with its own Poco launcher, where the app tray will be accessible by swipe up from anywhere on the homescreen. The Poco Launcher has all the apps divided into categories.
