KEDARNATH, UTTARAKHAND: The sacred portals of the Shri Kedarnath Dham, one of Hinduism's most revered shrines, were ceremoniously closed for the winter season on Thursday. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was present for the occasion, participating in special prayers and rituals to mark the end of a record-breaking pilgrimage season.

A Season of Unprecedented Devotion

Amidst the resounding echoes of Vedic hymns and the traditional tunes of the army band, the temple doors were sealed for the next six months. Chief Minister Dhami offered prayers to Baba Kedar, seeking blessings for the happiness, prosperity, and overall well-being of the people of Uttarakhand. This year's Char Dham Yatra saw an unprecedented number of devotees, a success the Chief Minister attributed to the state government's meticulous planning and organized management. He emphasized that the pilgrimage is not only a cornerstone of the state's economy but also a vital link connecting Devbhoomi Uttarakhand with the global Sanatan Dharma community.
