Bollywood is celebrating the 86th birth anniversary of the iconic actor of the Indian cinema, Madhubala. Popularly known as ‘The Marilyn Monroe of Bollywood', Madhubala is an epitome of beauty and charm. Born on 14 February, 1933, the versatile actress made her on-screen debut at the age of 9 with the film Basant (1942). However, her acting career actually began in 1947, when she starred in Neel Kamal opposite Raj Kapoor at the age of 14. Madhubala went on to act in over 70 films in a career of 22 years.
