Padmavati row: Rajasthan HM Gulab Singh Kataria condemns attack on Bhansali, assures probe

Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali on Friday faced the heat of protesters, who staged a demonstration against his film Padmavati in Jaipur's Jaigarh area. According to reports, the protesters manhandled Bhansali and even tore off his clothes. Padmavati is being shot in Jaipur. Firing by Bhansali's security guard amid the scuffle has also been reported. The activists of a local organisation are reportedly protesting aagainst Padmavati for allegedly distorting historical facts.
