On December 4, 2017 we lost a gem of an actor and human being as veteran actor Shashi Kapoor breathed his last at Kokilaben Hospital. He was 79 and had been unwell for a long time. Shashi Kapoor was born as Balbir Raj Kapoor to Prithviraj Kapoor and his wife in Calcutta, British India, on 18 March 1938. He was the youngest brother of Raj Kapoor and Shammi Kapoor.
