Akali Dal activist tries to hoist tricolour at Srinagar’s Lal Chowk

An Akali Dal activist was arrested when he tried to unfurl the tricolour at Lal Chowk in Jammu and Kashmir’s summer capital. The activist was stopped by security personnel deployed at the popular point of Kashmir. In a video clip, a man is seen sloganeering “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”. The security has been beefed up across the Valley after the Pulwama attack which claimed 40 CRPF jawans’ lives.
