Arun Jaitley, former Union finance minister and a BJP stalwart passed away at Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Saturday. He was 66. Jaitley was admitted on August 9 after he complained of breathlessness. Union Minister Smriti Irani condoled his death in a tweet message. She wrote Jaitley dedicated his life to party and nation. “He worked for people of marginalized section. At this moment of grief, I stand by the bereaved family,” she added.
