Bharat Bandh: Curfew imposed in Madhya Pradesh's Bhind and Morena

The BJP-led Centre on Monday advised all states to beef up security to prevent violence and any untoward incident during the Bharat Bandh called by some groups on Tuesday reportedly against caste-based reservations in jobs and education. The Ministry of Home Affairs has stated that all districts magistrates and superintendents of police will be personally held responsible for any violence in their jurisdiction area. The direction came a week after the Dalit protest which had led to massive violence in different parts of the country leading to the death of 10 people.
