Celebration amongst TMC, SP and RLD party workers after win in by-polls elections

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday lost the “prestige battle” in Kairana as Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) candidate Tabassum Hasan defeated its candidate Mriganka Singh by a huge margin of votes in the crucial Uttar Pradesh by-election. Party workers of TMC, SP and RLD celebrated their victory over BJP in their respective Lok Sabha seats.
