Cold wave envelops North India, avalanche warning issued in Himachal and J&K

Cold wave conditions to prevail over most of north India as hill areas witnessed heavy snowfall. Heavy snowfall also led to drop in the temperature in Delhi and NCR. MeT department has issued ab avalanche warning for the districts of Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal pradesh.
