EC announces dates of Assembly Elections in Meghalaya, Tripura and Nagaland

The Election Commission of India has announced the dates for Assembly elections 2018 in three Northeast states - Meghalaya, Tripura and Nagaland. The elections in Tripura will take place on February 18 while Meghalaya and Nagaland will go to polls on February 27, Chief Election Commissioner Achal Kumar Jyoti said in a press conference on Thursday.
