Four accidents take place on Agra-Lucknow Expressway everyday: RTI

An RTI filed by activist KC Jain has revealed a shocking data regarding accidents happened on Agra-Lucknow Expressway. According to reply on RTI by UPEIDA 2271 people died in 2,368 accidents took place in 20 months. The data suggests that 1 person lost his or her life every 3rd day and the expressway sees 4 accidents every day. The RTI information raises serious questions over safety measures on the expressway.
