Gujarat: Locals attack migrants after Bihar native arrested for raping 14-month-old girl

Following the arrest of a Bihar native for allegedly raped a 14-month-old girl in Sabarkantha district on September 28, non-Gujaratis, especially from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar were attacked by locals. According to police, the incident happened after hate messages against non-locals were circulated on social media. Over 150 people have been arrested involved in the violence, police said.
