Heatwave to Cyclone: Weather takes twists and turns in India

In the month of June, the weather is taking twists and turns. In several parts of the country, mercury is shattering records while in some other parts, rainfall and cyclone appear inevitable. Coastal states like Gujarat and Maharashtra are likely to receive heavy rainfall and cyclone. The Meteorological Department of India has issued warning to Gujarat as cyclone Vayu is set to hit coastal parts of the state.
