Ahead of hoisting Tricolour at the Red Fort PM Modi paid tributes to Mahatama Gandhi at Rajghat. India is today celebrating its 73rd Independence Day. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hoist the national flag at Red Fort in New Delhi at around 7.30 am followed by the national anthem and a 21-cannon grand salute as a respect to the freedom fighters.
