International Solar Alliance Summit: PM Narendra Modi calls for concessional, less-risky financing for solar projects

Prime Minister Narendra Modi while speakign at the first Founding Conference of International Solar Alliance (ISA) in Rashtrapati Bhavan on Sunday said that the country will generate 175 GW power from renewable by the year 2022. PM Modi added that in India, the Vedas have considered the sun as the world's soul and when we looking at ways to tackle climate change we have to look towards the ancient philosophy and the holistic approach.
