Jallikattu supporters gather in Madurai, demand permanent solution

After much uproar and protests, Jallikattu, the bull-taming sport was finally conducted in several districts of Tamil Nadu on Sunday. Two people were killed and at least 50 injured in Pudukottai during the sport. However, protesters in Alanganallur of Madurai demanded a permanent solution and forced Chief Minister O Panneerselvam to leave for Chennai without inaugurating Jallikattu.
