Police have registered the first FIR on Monday in connection with violence in Jawahar Lal University on Sunday evening. The FIR has been registered under relevant sections relating to damage of public property damage, and rioting. Meanwhile, the senior warden of Jawaharlal Nehru University's Sabarmati Hostel, R Meena, has resigned following the violence on students, which left several injured. Watch full report.
