Kerala nun rape case: Bishop Franco Mulakkal arrested

After the raging outrage owing to allegations against Bishop Franco Mulakkal on repeatedly raping and sexually assaulting a nun went public, the Bishop was arrested by the police. Franco Mulakkal is a senior member of the Roman Catholic clergy in India. The police interrogation lasted for over three days after which the 54-year-old Mulakkal was arrested by the Kerala police.
