The land provided to UP Sunni Central Waqf Board to build a mosque is "not in Ayodhya", said Babri Masjid Action Committee convener advocate Zafaryab Jilani. He also questioned the timing of the announcement of Ram temple trust by calling it a move to "gain political mileage." According to Jilani, who is also executive member of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB), merely renaming Faizabad as Ayodhya does not mean the land is "at a prominent place in Ayodhya" as mandated by the Supreme Court order on November 9 last year.
