Madhya Pradesh: Despite floods, ‘Mahadev Paani’ in Raisen witnesses good footfalls

Despite a flood-like situation in other parts of Madhaya Pradesh, denizens in Bhopal and other neighbouring places are rushing in to nearby river streams, including Mahadev Paani waterfall in Raisen for recreational purposes. Visitors are risking their lives to enjoy the water streams despite warning issued by regional weather department. On August 15, eleven people were swept away in Shivpuri’s Sultanpur waterfall after water level rose sharply due to a sudden release of water from a nearby dam.
