In a major breakthrough in the Shailja murder case, the Delhi police on Tuesday revealed that Major Nikhil Rai Handa, the main suspect in the incident first saw Shailja Dwivedi on Facebook and befriended her husband, Major Amit Dwivedi so that he could come close to Shailja. Ever since Handa has seen Shailja's picture on a mutual friend's timeline, he became a regular visitor at the Dwivedi's place in Nagaland.
