Meri Delhi: Free School: Under the Bridge

The “Free School: Under the Bridge” –as christened by its creator Rajesh Kumar Sharma -- teaches hundreds of poor children who live in shacks and hutments dotting the banks of the Yamuna. The pillars serve as the boundary of the school and trains roar past on the bridge above, rattling her as she solves elementary mathematical problems.
