Nirbhaya Convicts Hanged : First Reaction of Victim's Mother Asha Devi

Speaking to media persons first time after the execution of convicts, Nirbhaya's mother Asha Devi said it was the victory of judiciary. All the four convicts of Nirbhaya gangrape and murder hanged till death in Tihar Jail. The convicts — Mukesh (31), Pawan Gupta (24), Vinay Sharma (25) and Akshay Kumar Singh (33) — have been executed at Tihar jail, Delhi. The victim, a 23-year-old paramedic student who was referred to as Nirbhaya, was gang-raped and assaulted on the intervening night of December 16-17, 2012, in a moving bus in south Delhi by six people.
