Opposition is not celebrating Azhar's blacklisting: Arun Jaitley

Addressing a press conference, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said that India had been trying to designate Masood Azhar as a global terrorist since 2009 but remained unsuccessful due to technical holds. Finance Minister added that many countries were trying to designate Azhar in the backdrop of India's consistent efforts. "Due to the impact of India's diplomacy and pressure from the international fraternity, China had to remove the hold on Azhar's ban", added Jaitley.
