Plea for review of SC order on Rafale should be declined: Government

The Supreme Court reserved its order on whether it would examine the documents submitted by the petitioners in the review plea filed in the Rafale deal case. The court said that it will decide first on the preliminary objections raised by Centre and then go into the facts of the case. A bench headed by CJI Ranjan Gogoi asked the petitioners seeking review of its order to focus on the preliminary objections regarding admissibility of the leaked documents. While government demanded the cancellation of the review petition of the previous order.
