Following the death of a 14-year-old girl, there was a complete shutdown in Kanwat village in Sikar on Wednesday, with local administration having to deploy additional police force. The minor, who was raped and strangled by a neighbour, had died in JK Lon Hospital on Tuesday. The family along with the locals also staged a sit-in protest outside the local police station.
