Ram Navami: India celebrates Lord Rama's birth anniversary with great fervour

India celebrated Ram Navami with great fervour on Sunday, March 25. Devotees thronged to the temple and offered their prayers to Lord Rama; known as God Vishnu's seventh avatar. People fasted and chanted holy mantras on the festival which marks the birth anniversary of the Lord Rama.
