Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the three Armed Forces Chiefs paid tribute at Amar Jawan Jyoti on the occasion of India's 69th Republic Day. The main function took place at Rajpath where President Ram Nath Kovind awarded the gallantry awards. The Indo Tibetan Border Police hoisted the tricolour in the spine-chilling temperature of minus 30 degrees in the Himalayas.
