Social media turns hot battleground after airstrikes against Pakistan

Amid airstrikes between India and Pakistan, social media platforms- Facebook and Twitter are flooded by posts narrating different false/true stories. A Facebook post shows that Pakistani personnel have burnt their own fighter jet after the strikes by IAF. Meanwhile, India shot down Pakistan Air Force’s F-16 fighter jet after an airspace violation in Jammu and Kashmir’s Nowshera sector on Wednesday morning. The fighter jet was shot down in Indian retaliatory fire 3 KM within Pakistan territory in Lam valley, Nowshera sector, news agency ANI.
