Surgical strike 2nd anniversary: India Gate holds special programme to salute brave heroes

To salute the indomitable courage and valour of our brave hearts, India Saturday celebrates the second anniversary of the surgical strike carried out by the India Army across the Line of Control (LoC) on Pakistan in 2016. A special programme on the lawns of India Gate in the heart of the national capital showcases the heroism of Indian armed forces. The event has started with a bugle call on Friday with Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman herself present on the occasion.
