Uttar Pradesh: 14 die after consuming illicit liquor in Kanpur

At least 14persons have died and 20 are in a serious condition after consuming spurious liquor in Kanpur Nagar and Kanpur Dehat districts of Uttar Pradesh, the police said on Sunday. The seriously ill have been admitted to the L.L.R. Hospital and the Ursula Horsman Memorial Hospital in Kanpur, and the District Hospital in Kanpur Dehat.
