Karwa Chauth special: Festival celebrates woman’s devotion towards her husband

Karwa Chauth, a Hindu festival, is celebrate across the country. On this occasion, Hindu married women dedicate the day to their husbands and offer prayers prosperity and well-being for their husbands. Women adorn themselves with colourful costume and apply henna on their hands. Women break their fast only after offering prayers to the moon.
