PM Modi slams Congress over its electricity promise made in 2004

While addressing a poll rally in Bihar’s Darbhanga, Prime Minister Narendra Modi targeted UPA government saying they did scam in fulfilling their promises as well. “In 2004, Congress promised in its manifesto to provide electricity to every home in the nation. But they did not meet their promise,” he said. The PM also said that only an honest and strong government can protect the nation and its culture.
