Speaking with News Nation over Rahul Gandhi’s nomination from Kerala’s Wayanad, Congress leader KC Venugopal, who is an MP from Alappuzha constituency said that people of South India wanted him to contest from here. Answering on BJP’s allegation that Congress president ran away from Amethi, Venugopal said they (BJP leaders) should answer first why did Atal Bihari Vajpayee contest from three seats and PM Modi from 2 constituencies.
