Cooperative federalism: A distant goal in India

Recently, chief ministers of non-NDA ruled states have compliant of discrimination. They have alleged that the Center has been not providing them adequate funds for the development. On the other hand, PM Narendra Modi has batted for Cooperative federalism between Center and states for the development. The Modi govt has scrapped 50 year old planning commission and started Niti Ayog with Team India including all the CMs in it.
