Maa Shailputri: Worship goddess for good fortune

On the first day of nine-day festival, Navratri, pray to goddess Shailputri for lots of luck and fortune in life. Shailputri, as the Sanskrit name states, is the daughter of the Mountains and is worshipped as the absolute form of Mother Nature.
