Nation View : Bharat Bandh to protest reservation; 12 injured in violence

Over a dozen of people were injured in clashes in Bihar as some groups tried to enforce a Bharat Bandh to protest reservation in education and jobs. Supporters of the anti-reservation bandh mostly from upper castes, railway tracks, blocked roads and forced markets to shut down in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. In several states prohibitory orders banning large gatherings were imposed and cellphone internet services were suspended.
