Question Hour: India-China on a new path of an amicable relationship?

A flash back of how China had waged a war on India on October 20, 1965. After months of skirmishes between India and China and tactical military manoeuvres by both sides along the border and disputed territories, the Chinese People’s Liberation Army launched two massive simultaneous attacks on India, around 1000 km apart, catching the Indian leadership and an under-prepared army largely off-guard. The twin attacks had triggered the start of what is known as Sino-Indian war. To dilute the bitterness between both the neighbours, the armymen together can be seen in the rescue operations. In an attempt to make the atmostphere more friendly towards each other, around 175 jawans are taking part in the anti-terror exercises. A special report on the future prospects of Indo-Sino relations on Question Hour.
