A Thai soldier killed at least 20 people inside a mall in the north-eastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima on Saturday before being shot dead by commandos. On the other hand, two people were killed and 11 injured in a firecracker explosion during a religious procession in Punjab's Tarn Taran district.
