Mumbai:

In a country like India, millions of people are suffering from a pandemic called superstition. These superstitions force people to believe some illogical facts and so-called 'spiritual gurus' continuously prey on them to fulfill their vested interest.

A recent heart-shivering incident which took place at Mumbai's Nagpara area has left everyone shocked and proved the muscle of the fake beliefs yet another time.

It seems like a Christian family in Mumbai has also been trapped by the blind thoughts and is waiting eagerly for some miracle to enlighten their life. According to sources, the family has not arranged the funeral of their only son who breathed his last a week back.

The family which lives in the Neighbourhood Society of Nagpara locale has given birth to a new controversy after they denied to arrange the funeral of their son, as according to their beliefs, something supernatural is around the air and Jesus Christ will bring life to 20-year-old Meshvik Octavia yet again.

"This practice does exist in our religion but no one has tried it here. It is a matter of faith. As Jesus rose from the dead, He will not allow this boy to slip into death," one of Meshvik's relative stated while talking about the same.

The report suggests that 20-year-old Mishek was suffering from cancer and breathed his last on October 28 after a prolonged battle with the life-threatening disease.

Though it is illegal to preserve a dead body without any significant reason for a long, police did not interfere much as this is a case of religious beliefs and depends on the faith of individuals.

According to the Christian clerics, though there were some certain believes regarding the re-birth of Christ, in today's world, there is no logic to entertain such thoughts and Meshvik's family should arrange his funeral anytime soon.
